MINI STD/CTD model SD-204 is a compact, high performance and user friendly STD- instrument with numerous applications. The electronic design is based on sophisticated microprocessor technology. The instrument body is made of molded polyurethane which makes the entire construction extremely rugged and field reliable. SD-204 is manufactured by SAIV in Bergen and distributed by Sensordata.
After start command given by holding a magnet outside the instument the standard MINI STD/CTD will basically measure,calculate, and record

- Salinity
- Temperature
- Sound velocity
- Depth
- Dissolved oxygen
- Turbidity
- Fluorescense
At any time after measurements are finished the recorded data may be transferred to a PC for immediate processing by the special software MINISOFT 200.
MINI STD/CTD has become a widely used instrument in research, education, underwater engineering and in offshore.
Due to its ruggedness and reliability MINI STD has become a
preferred instrument for measurement of temperature,salinity, density and sound velocity profiles in offshore exploration work in the the North Sea and in the Barents sea.
